I am posting my Inktoberfest challenge today because I will be gone most of Saturday. But I will be home to post BINGO words!
I saw this technique not long ago and thought it would be perfect for Fall. It is easy and turned out well for me.
Here goes --
Stamp a bare tree or trees ( you can hand draw a bare tree if you do not have a stamp of one ). Take finger daubers OR an eraser at the end of a pencil to stamp dots on your trees. You may use various green inks or Fall color inks. Here are the samples --

Please make a card or tag using this technique.
Use another stamped image on your card.
You may combine this challenge with other IF challenges if allowed by them.
I will be giving an RAK to a randomly chosen winner!
Please upload your project with INK16 Spotty Dotty in the gallery and link it here to this post so that we won't miss it.
Most of all, have fun!
April

I have a few little tree or branch stamps and this looks like it is really going to be fun!
Thanks for hosting!
-
that is so cool, may have to try some fall colors!
-
Very cool. This definitely is a good technique for a fall card. And I've got several nekkid tree stamps. ;D
-
Thanks April, I always love stamping trees...this will be a fun one!

Here is my entry!
(I originally forgot the additional image stamp I needed to meet the requirements for this challenge, but I updated my card to make it work.)

This was fun! I had to look a little for a pencil with the eraser intact. My kids chew on pencils. I really want to make more of these!
Thanks for the challenge.

I ended up using a little round stamp I had that was the same size as an eraser, hope that was ok. I had accidentally got a bit of ink around the edges of my image so I had to cut it down quite close, still had a little in the upper corner, that is why the sentiment is there :) then I remembered oh no I have to have another stamp, so in came the little bird :) I didn't think my stamped sentiment would count. The colors I used where a bit bright so I added a little antique linen distress ink to tone down the leaves, Loved how it turned out, will be perfect for my nephew :)

I used Heidi's challenge for background.
Stamped tree with Rubbernecker stamp. Added leaves with pencils eraser.
Used felt leaf for mat for words, added bow.

So I had and idea to make a winter tree with the dots being snow. And I'm not sure I like the results. I combined it with one of my warm-up backgrounds, but I can't convince myself to attach it to the card. Every time I look at it I think meh. But then I think I'm being hypercritical and I should just attach it.
What do you ladies thing?
-
Sarah, that was a really clever idea. I think they look like either snowflakes or more ornaments. I think I would use it.
-
very clever idea Sarah, I love how you added ornaments to the tree also and that embossed snow flake background is very pretty too!
-
Made another one as a spring birthday card.

I made a Spotty Dotty Thanksgiving (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=3006#top_display_media) card.
I added ground and a park bench for my additional stamp.
Thanks for the challenge April! I enjoyed it!

I made a card using a round distress sponge thingy and it looks kind of rough, maybe not enough ink on the sponges? Anyway here (http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=91&pid=3010#top_display_media)it is. At least now I have two challenges done before tonight.

I ended up redoing the tree for the pink card. And I did a fall tree as well.
