With this challenge I would like you to stamp an image twice on two different types of papers, and color only one of the images. Cut them diagonally, I cut mine at the same time to make sure they would match up perfectly. Then take them apart and put the opposites together. You don't have to add a sentiment if you don't want to, I didn't do mine like she did in the example I will share.
This is where I got my idea from: https://thevelvetlemon.blogspot.com/2017/05/playing-challenge-game.html?sc=1679759020597#c464782207002285321
Here is my example: http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=5960#top_display_media
When posting use Springfest 2023 2for1.
If I forgot anything or you have questions let me know :)

So wonderful to get two cards from one coloring session! Thanks for the challenge Connie, I love both your sample and the one you linked.
-
Oh that is a great idea! I look forward to doing t his one. I will choose one of my larger stamps that I don’t always reach for.

Your cards are so pretty! I like this technique.

Oh well, I just read the directions again and I was only to color one image.. maybe I will do it again.
Anyway I used an old frame stamp, I wasn’t sure it would even work, but it did. I put wood grain on the brown cause the picture on the back of the wood looked like wood grain. But if I hadn’t colored it, I could have wood grained the paper before I stamped. Isn’t hind sight great?

Ha, yes hindsight is great! I should've used a bigger brush for my splatters and adjusted my washed out photo ... oh well! We had fun didn't we?

I like this technique. I hope to try again with different stamps if I get time at the end of the week.
Thanks for hosting Connie!

A very intriguing technique which I haven't seen before. Love this 2 for 1 technique.

Here’s my entry! This was fun and easy. I didn’t cut them exactly right but still looked good with the strip over the center.
