Thanks Cindi, when I saw the technique that was the first thing that came to my mind.

I started this and used Tombow multi glue and I hope it works out. I do know it dries tacky and I don’t know how that will work out but we will see!

I did need to put acetate over the background because the glue was too tacky.

Connie, I used the second, green, glue and ink background I made to die cut a Christmas tree for April's Bingo Twist challenge.

I thought the background was kind of ugly at first, but then thought the white on green could be snow on a pine tree so I tried my Christmas tree die over it and went with that!

Don't throw out your ugly backgrounds!  I just heard that same tip in a mixed media class I took online today.
