Swipe and Wipe
« on: July 21, 2014, 02:45:40 PM »
I just tried a technique that Daniel showed in another board. It is called Swipe and Wipe. You color a stamp using crayons, swipe a dye ink color over it (this fills in any white areas left) than wipe excess ink off with a paper towel. Here are a few examples. Thanks, Daniel for the fun technique!

LOL, Pug! 'S&W' is just a variation of crayon resist. I used the technique on all my pieces for Daria's Challenge. What I find intriguing is how using just one color of ink over the crayon-colored stamping can make such an impact.
