Hello everyone ...
This month's Christmas card making prompt is sponsored by the letter "o"
The only thought I've had so far is to use a Christmas carol or verse as a prompt ...
O Little Town of Bethlehem
O Come All Ye Faithful
Oh the weather outside is frightful!
Use the color orange on a Christmas card? Now that would be a challenge, ha!
Any ideas?
Of course you know we'd like to see any Christmas cards you make this month, whether they follow the prompt or not.
Please save in the Christmas All Year folder in the gallery and link up here.
Thanks for playing!
I was thinking I might do an "N" card last night, but lost my mojo :(
On with April and the letter "O"!

We can use Heidi's technique! Ombre! Also we can use an ornament. Thanks for the prompt. I will have to start on my cards soon.

That worked out! Total coincidence!

Perfect! Great ideas!

I think I have just the stamp :)

Here is my one of my cards. I used the ombre technique and an ornament for the O prompt.

Oooh, I really like your card April, and the way you oriented your ombre background to be lighter at the bottom. It makes a wonderful sky. I bet the twinkling H2Os are even better in person. Thanks for playing!

Here is my second entry.

Thanks for using the prompt, April! That is a cool ornament stamp. I like how you colored it, and matted it.
-
Here is one more card! I didn't know I had so many ornament stamps! LOL!

April, thank you for describing your technique. It looks great with the ornament and greenery.

I made two cards yesterday in Virtual Craft Group. I had found in my bag 4 already stamped out layering trees. So I just needed to finish the cards. I did add Nuvo Drop Ornaments to go with the prompt.

I didn’t do all my cards last month so I am still hoping to figure out 4 more cards this month.

Such a great find ... already layered trees! I like the cards you made. Thanks for playing!
-
I actually manage to do one for the prompt, O holy night :)

I tried another one using my metallic color bursts and it was a dud, couldn't get a good embossing on it to save me, so I only managed to get one Christmas card done this month, not good
-
You are ahead of me Connie! If only I could stop making sympathy cards!
Your nativity scene card is beautiful. Have you tried embossing with clear embossing powder over black ink? It's much more forgiving!
I keep thinking I'd like to make Christmas cards this month ... I should get off my butt and do it.
Thanks for taking the challenge and using the prompt!

I have not tried that Cindi, hopefully I can remember to give that a try next time :)
