WF15 impressions challenge

I heat embossed my image(I think it's imkadinkado? No label on it) on to white cardstock with UTEE embossing powder. Blended distress inks in broken China, tumbled glass and salty ocean. It ended up being more blue green than I wanted so I blended white pigment ink from colorbox on to the top with a sponge. I added some royal blue ink to the edges of the piece and blended that around. Next I added a piece of light blue pp that I embossed with a Tim Holtz snowflake EF. I rubbed the same blue ink, mama elephant stargazer over the raised area. Mounted the 2 to a slate/navy blue card base and inked around the edges of that with colorbox frost white ink. Added a punched snowflake to the top and brushed some clear rock candy stickles around the embossed piece.

This is so pretty LeighAnn! I love love the tree scene you made with all the different blues and that's a great idea to blend whtie pigment over the top of the colors. I also really like the PP embossed! I have to remember that b/c it looks fantastic! The entire piece is so lovely--thank you for taking my challenge!

This is such a good interpretation(sp) of the picture. I like the way you have so much going on but it all fits. Thank you for sharing.

The background you created with the trees is stunning. I really like the white inked edges on the dark blue base. Absolutely lovely card.
