Chalked Diecut Stamp & Stencil with Scrap

I made this for Willy's April Oldies challenge AND also did it for my threads on 'making stamps from dies & working with premade 'scrap'.

For the chalk challenge, I used a die (MB Sorrento Heart) to make a diecut from craftfoam. It became my stamp. I used the 'outline' diecut as a guide to make a heart stencil. I versamarked thru the stencil & colored with powdered Crayola chalk. Left the stencil in place & inked the diecut with VM, then stamped. Applied contrasting chalk colors (powder) to layer the die pattern on the heart shape.

The fairy is a piece of 'commercial' scrap that I fussycut & layered. The trellis parts are also a diecut (MB)

The separated panels were done with DIs & the whole composition was glued to a CS base.

The heart came out fantastic. And the scrap is sweet.

The feeling I get from this is that your little darling is looking up at a heart-shaped moon. Cool piece! Thanks for sharing your techniques.
