Chalked Heart & Scrap

The heart part of this was done just like the one with the fairy on it (pid=1370) . Check that out for details on the process I used. OK? :-D

This was actually my first attempt to do layered chalking & It didn't turn out too badly for me.

Now for the rest of the project... I used DI to pounce color around the (masked) heart. Then I stamped with a crackle stamp.

The punch work was done with handgrip punches--circle & teardrop. The 'stitched' openings around the heart were cut with a blade. I neglected to do a cut for the point of the heart outline--silly me.

The birds are commercial scrap that I fussycut just a bit.

The finished piece was layered on contrasting CS.

I really like the colors you used on the heart. That crackle stamp is really cool. Those bird scraps are perfect on this card.
