Simon Says Stamp Simple Poinsettia Cutouts Die

I die cut the flowers a long time ago. I was disappointed that they were so small, and it was difficult to find something that looked good behind them other than a solid color. I put the die-cut aside, and every once in a while, I’d put something behind it to see if it worked. Now my friend Nora makes the most wonderful One-Sheet Wonders using a variety of stamps. I decided to try it and made the ugliest one you ever saw. That is what is behind the flowers. I’m glad the flowers were small enough to hide most of my background piece. The pearls are an exact match for the mat, and both are lighter and brighter than they appear in the photograph.

What a fasinating card. I love the designer paper behind your flowers. You sound so disappointed in your card. Don't be. It's a winner in my books.

That's not designer paper; it's my very ugly one-sheet wonder. I hid it with the die-cut. lol. Daria

Well, now you've been called a designer, so take it as a compliment! Haha! I love this card. You really made lemonade out of a lemon, if you really disliked your one-sheet wonder. I love how you placed the flowers on the stitched line. It looks like one of those big fancy border dies.

Don't you love it when backgrounds end up working out perfect for another project, so pretty

Very pretty. It is amazing how using just a piece of an. “Ugly” background makes it look great!
