August tag swap

Here's the tag I sent to Sadie I started with a manilla tag and ran it through my cuttlebug. i cant recall the folder name but it's by Cuttlebug(maybe morrocan tile?). Using the side of a white crayon, I heavily rubbed it against the raised areas. I applied distress ink in crushed olive to the tag. Buffed the raised areas with a paper towel. I stamped my flower image(its a large bouquet image but I cut it apart and didn't use all of the flowers or stems) on to white card stock and added marks to the flowers and the flower centers with my white crayon. Colored the image with colored pencils. Buffed the crayon areas a little. Cut apart and adhered to the tag. Added some sentiments, sequins and fibers for embellishments. TFL :

Wow, I love the striking yellow color with the purple flowers. What fun techniques you used on this tag! Very nice!

I didn't realize the crayon resist would work with coloring with colored pencils. Cool. I really like that embossing folder and the flowers are lovely. And the sequins add just the right amount of sparkle.

Thank you very much for making this lovely tag! I do like it very much. I also didn't realize that colored pencils would work with crayon resist. Thank you for sharing and explaining.

Another winner, Pug! The lattice looks applied rather than embossed. Great! And the flowers are terrific!
