Creative Expressions Bluebird & Serendipity Background

Thank you, Nora, for sending me these die-cuts.
I spent way too much time looking for compatible cardstock for the card bases.
These are birthday cards—one for my daughter and one for one of my sisters.

Both Cards:
6 ¼ x 4 ½ inches (A-6 card)
Backgrounds—Serendipity Sheets
Creative Expressions Paper Cuts Collection, Bluebird Edger Die
Swarovski Elements Nail Art (SS05 & SS07), black (bird’s eye)
Gina K Designs Connect Glue

Inserts: (not posted here)
PSX sentiment stamp
Wink of Stella (gold on 1st card, clear on 2nd card)

Card 2:
Serendipity Background: https://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/13464/view/4940175/-1/576/0.html
Core’dinations Tim Holtz Kraft Core Nostalgic Collection, 80-lb., No. 15 (card base)

Do you guys remember when we made these? I think it was the first challenge I offered on Two Peas. It took on a life of its own. So much fun. Can you believe we did that fifteen years ago? And I still have pieces. lol.

2nd Serendipity Sheet:
I used scraps of cardstock, mulberry papers, patterned papers, and good stuff from Paper Mojo. I used real postage stamps and rubber-stamped a few images of postage stamps and embossed them.

TFL.
Daria

P.S. I'm not posting the insert here--not worth taking up another post, but it is posted on my scrapbook.com gallery since I can put all three photos in one post there.

I do remember making Serendipity sheets! For some reason I seem to remember stamping an embossing a gold palm tree on mine! I love the way these look under your pretty die cuts. Great idea!

Cindi, you did have little palm trees on yours. I put all the projects that were submitted in a Word document--thirty-five pages long! I just checked to see what yours looked like. Very cool. Daria
