Ink21 - Glue and ink. Backgrounds

These are the backgrounds I made for Connie's Glue and Ink challenge.

On the left
I smeared collage medium directly on white cardstock.
When it was dry I ink blended with Iced Spruce and Rustic Wilderness distress ink over the top. I wasn't crazy about this one at first but I have an idea ...

On the right
I ink blended KItsch Flamingo and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxides on white card stock.
I smeared Aleene's Tacky Glue over the ink. My glue was really old and goopy but it worked! It might have even given it more texture because it was so thick.
Once the glue dried I ink blended over the whole thing with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and wiped over the whole piece in case there was wet ink sitting on the glued areas.
